Dr. Christopher Louie is simply the best in terms of dentistry and his caring and supportive manner. I have been going to this dentist office for over 50 years, beginning with Dr. Chris's father, Dr. George Louie. It just doesn't get any better! BTW: Gail is the best dental hygienist I've ever been to! And, once again, they came through for me in a pinch and squeezed me into their busy schedule with only a few days notice and fixed my problem in the best way possible for my situation. I’ve been coming to the Louie Family Dentistry in Fremont since I was 3 or 4 years old. I see Dr. Chris Louie now but I started with his father back when I was a kid. I’m almost 68 years old now and live in San Jose but still drive to Fremont for all my dental needs. I’ve never had a bad experience here from Dr. Chris , his dad(Dr. Louie) all the office staff and the dental hygienists. I’ve been seeing the same dental hygienists ( Gayle) forever it seems and she’s the best.This is truly a family dentistry as Dr. Chris’s daughter has now been seeing patients here also. I probably shouldn’t give them such a good review because it will be even harder to schedule an appointment, but they are simply the best!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Louie for over 40 years. Even though we have moved from Fremont, we still make the 1.5 hour trip to his practice because we can depend on professional, reliable, friendly service.

They were very thorough in their initial screening and after all was said and done Dr. Michael gave a clear and concise review of an initial plan in managing my teeth. Dr. Mike was great. He's profesional, he and his assistant ( sorry miss, i forgot your name) were exceptional at making me feel comfortable. I was in for an emergency and he showed me my options. Louie Family Dentistry is an excellent choice if you are new to the area or seeking a new dentist. Ask for Gail to clean your teeth...she is amazing. I believe she is the longest tenured employee in the practice. Oh and ask her to use the "Cavitron" when cleaning your teeth. It is both a benefit to you as a patient and her as a hygienist. Personally I love it and it cuts down on all of the scraping. Although it is a very small office situated in an old home, they have state of the art technology. Everyone is very friendly yet also very professional. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.

When I called to have my x-rays released to an oral surgeon they did so immediately. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Chris Louie is the best of the best. Not surprisingly, not all dentists are the same and like any endeavor, there are some that represent the very top of their profession. At that highest level would be Dr. Louie. Whether it's basic dentistry or like myself, a more complicated procedure, I know that you will find Dr. Louie to be deeply intelligent, highly skillful, and very articulate & communicative about what one is dealing with and what to do about it. I don't even live or work near Fremont but it is well worth my time and effort to make the drive over to get the best care in dentistry. You only get one set of adult teeth you know! On top of everything else, his delightful personality and their profesional staff make it all the more worth it.

Dr. Chris Louie and his staff are phenomenal. Due to my bruxism, my teeth are incredibly sensitive around the gum line, making me wince in pain when my teeth get cleaned. I avoided the dentist for nearly 5 years because of my fear, until a friend had referred me to Dr. Louie. Everyone in the office is warm and inviting, so I would highly recommend Dr. Louie if you are as fearful as I am when it comes to dentists. You will be in excellent hands! Jeanine has been my hygienist for over a year and accommodates all of my needs. She is incredibly gentle and patient when reaching my problem areas so I am not in pain. While I am still anxious when I go in for my cleanings, I trust Jeanine completely. Even though I am tight on my budget, Jeanine ensures that I leave the office with the proper tools to keep my teeth healthy. I have moved to Oakland, but I will continue to drive down to Fremont just to stay with Dr. Louie and his team!

I have no complaints about my visit. Excellent service. I was very pleased. The office was running a few minutes late, maybe 15 minutes the most. Which I didn’t mind at all. In the future, since I work so close to the office. I don’t mind being called 10!minutes before the appointment time asking me to arrive 15, 20, 30 or how ever long it is. I don’t mind. Again, the wait was very minimal. and not an issue.
Doctor Louie is always patient and understanding of my special needs. He understand normal numbing shot don't usually work. He has to do his magic to get my mouth numb. Dr Louie makes double double sure I am comfortable. No pain before he start to drill.. The shots are like an ant bite. He made sure my pain was minimum. I am not a resident in the area. But the drive to Dr Louie is worth it. I know I am in good hands with DR Louie... The staff is amazing always. Thank you Dr Louie and Staff Jessica VARGAS-Lam

I love the staff here. They are always friendly. My 5 year old loves coming in for her cleaning appointments. They show and tell her what they are going to do and even allow her to touch amd hold the equipment so she's never afraid. I truly love this dentist office. Yes I said it we love going to our dentist.
I recently was worried about my daughter's chipped tooth and Dr. Chris took a look at it and told me not to rush fixing it till her braces are off. He is very genuine, and puts your mind at ease. I trust his professional opinion because he does not push unnecessary procedures. I was also worried about my other daughter's white spots on her teeth and he made me feel like its so easy to fix such cosmetic issues these days, that there is nothing to worry about. He has got integrity and great bed side manor. I highly recommend him!!!

Wow! Sorry but i just have to tell you that my teeth cleaning and dental appointment was incredible! I am so happy to have white teeth again and the hygienist was incredibly contentious and delicate. - its weird, it was almost like having a massage of my gums and teeth during this cleaning. She was so good at educating me about my teeth and since i had not come back in over 4 years, she made sure that my teeth were good and squeaky clean for the holidays. Again, after the cleaning, Dr. Chris took me over to his location for a early fitting of a new crown. Not only did i get a crown , but he squeezed me in for a repair to a lower tooth. He filled it to make it look like how it was before i chipped 1/4 of it off years ago. He made my grill look awesome for the holidays! -denal cleaning and polishing of my now white teeth -new crown so i can eat and look good doing it. -fixed my ugly chipped tooth, made my grill look even better. - now days everything counts! sounds stupid that i am so worked up about the service and hygene is better, but i'll tell you with all the work i have had in my 40 years, there's no better place to take care of your dental needs and SMILE than here at Dr. Louie's. 10 stars for making me smile more and not to be contentious of my poor teeth! Oh almost forgot about my bad breath issues are subsiding too!

Dr. Chris Louie and his entire staff are probably the best group of people you can ever want to deal with when it comes to dentistry. I have been allowing Dr Louie and staff to stick their hands in my mouth for almost 10 years. Every single staff member is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and give you that level of comfort that you know they really care about you. And, the actual dentistry work performed is top of the line care and professionalism. As you can see from other YELP reviews, this is the gold tooth of dentistry!
I went to this office for a second opinion regarding some tooth pain I was experiencing. No run around, and was told that a crown would not be necessary (as previously told by other dentist). They adjusted the high bite that was causing me pain (at no charge!!). Much better now. The staff (including Dr Louie) are VERY kind and make the whole experience of being at the dentist office quite enjoyable!

Today I had my teeth cleaned by Gayle, who I’ve been seeing for years, and she is always amazing with the tremendous care she provides. Dr. Mike was great. He's profesional, he and his assistant ( sorry miss, i forgot your name) were exceptional at making me feel comfortable. I was in for an emergency and he showed me my options. Louie Family Dentistry is an excellent choice if you are new to the area or seeking a new dentist. Ask for Gail to clean your teeth...she is amazing. I believe she is the longest tenured employee in the practice. Oh and ask her to use the "Cavitron" when cleaning your teeth. It is both a benefit to you as a patient and her as a hygienist. Personally I love it and it cuts down on all of the scraping. Although it is a very small office situated in an old home, they have state of the art technology. Everyone is very friendly yet also very professional. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Victoria Louie and her assistant were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. From X-rays, oral health check up, to cleaning, the entire process only took an hour. When I called to have my x-rays released to an oral surgeon they did so immediately. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Chris Louie is the best of the best. Not surprisingly, not all dentists are the same and like any endeavor, there are some that represent the very top of their profession. At that highest level would be Dr. Louie. Whether it's basic dentistry or like myself, a more complicated procedure, I know that you will find Dr. Louie to be deeply intelligent, highly skillful, and very articulate & communicative about what one is dealing with and what to do about it. I don't even live or work near Fremont but it is well worth my time and effort to make the drive over to get the best care in dentistry. You only get one set of adult teeth you know! On top of everything else, his delightful personality and their profesional staff make it all the more worth it.
I have been coming to see Dr. Louie and his staff for almost 15 years. We are all like family at this point. (sometimes better than). Dr. Louie is a very talented dentist in every aspect of the field. And, Everyone, from the front desk, to the dental hygienists on staff, have exceptional, super honest caring, personalities. Dr. Chris Louie and his staff are phenomenal. Due to my bruxism, my teeth are incredibly sensitive around the gum line, making me wince in pain when my teeth get cleaned. I avoided the dentist for nearly 5 years because of my fear, until a friend had referred me to Dr. Louie. Everyone in the office is warm and inviting, so I would highly recommend Dr. Louie if you are as fearful as I am when it comes to dentists. You will be in excellent hands! Jeanine has been my hygienist for over a year and accommodates all of my needs. She is incredibly gentle and patient when reaching my problem areas so I am not in pain. While I am still anxious when I go in for my cleanings, I trust Jeanine completely. Even though I am tight on my budget, Jeanine ensures that I leave the office with the proper tools to keep my teeth healthy. I have moved to Oakland, but I will continue to drive down to Fremont just to stay with Dr. Louie and his team!
Have been a patient here for many years. Always have a great experience, the entire staff is ALWAYS pleasant, and I'm always informed of what needs to be done, if it can wait, and cost. I live in San Ramon and gladly make the drive to Fremont. My husband became a patient a couple years ago, and wishes he switched sooner! Love dr Louie and all the staff!

I have no complaints about my visit. Excellent service. I was very pleased. The office was running a few minutes late, maybe 15 minutes the most. Which I didn’t mind at all. In the future, since I work so close to the office. I don’t mind being called 10!minutes before the appointment time asking me to arrive 15, 20, 30 or how ever long it is. I don’t mind. Again, the wait was very minimal. and not an issue.
Doctor Louie is always patient and understanding of my special needs. He understand normal numbing shot don't usually work. He has to do his magic to get my mouth numb. Dr Louie makes double double sure I am comfortable. No pain before he start to drill.. The shots are like an ant bite. He made sure my pain was minimum. I am not a resident in the area. But the drive to Dr Louie is worth it. I know I am in good hands with DR Louie... The staff is amazing always. Thank you Dr Louie and Staff Jessica VARGAS-Lam

Dr. Chris Louie is the absolute best dentist you will come across. Most people fear or dislike the dentist - you need a new dentist. Dr. Louie is fantastic; he is always in a positive mood, very friendly, and even sometimes funny guy! ;) Dr. Louie's office is a pleasure to go to. His father started the practice many years ago and Dr. Chris Louie took over so it is truly a family practice. Can't go wrong here, highly recommended!!

I love the staff here. They are always friendly. My 5 year old loves coming in for her cleaning appointments. They show and tell her what they are going to do and even allow her to touch amd hold the equipment so she's never afraid. I truly love this dentist office. Yes I said it we love going to our dentist.
I recently was worried about my daughter's chipped tooth and Dr. Chris took a look at it and told me not to rush fixing it till her braces are off. He is very genuine, and puts your mind at ease. I trust his professional opinion because he does not push unnecessary procedures. I was also worried about my other daughter's white spots on her teeth and he made me feel like its so easy to fix such cosmetic issues these days, that there is nothing to worry about. He has got integrity and great bed side manor. I highly recommend him!!!
When I was younger I had a very bad dentist that really messed up my teeth I gave up on dentist because I could not find a good one . On all of the procedures he has performed on me, he has shown great skill, been expedient and gentle with no complications or issues. The same can be said for the hygenists Janine and Gayle. Wow! Sorry but i just have to tell you that my teeth cleaning and dental appointment was incredible! I am so happy to have white teeth again and the hygienist was incredibly contentious and delicate. - its weird, it was almost like having a massage of my gums and teeth during this cleaning. She was so good at educating me about my teeth and since i had not come back in over 4 years, she made sure that my teeth were good and squeaky clean for the holidays. Again, after the cleaning, Dr. Chris took me over to his location for a early fitting of a new crown. Not only did i get a crown , but he squeezed me in for a repair to a lower tooth. He filled it to make it look like how it was before i chipped 1/4 of it off years ago. He made my grill look awesome for the holidays! -denal cleaning and polishing of my now white teeth -new crown so i can eat and look good doing it. -fixed my ugly chipped tooth, made my grill look even better. - now days everything counts! sounds stupid that i am so worked up about the service and hygene is better, but i'll tell you with all the work i have had in my 40 years, there's no better place to take care of your dental needs and SMILE than here at Dr. Louie's. 10 stars for making me smile more and not to be contentious of my poor teeth! Oh almost forgot about my bad breath issues are subsiding too!
I can't believe I am actually writing a YELP review for my dentist. But, here I am at the keyboard. Dr. Chris Louie and his entire staff are probably the best group of people you can ever want to deal with when it comes to dentistry. I have been allowing Dr Louie and staff to stick their hands in my mouth for almost 10 years. Every single staff member is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and give you that level of comfort that you know they really care about you. And, the actual dentistry work performed is top of the line care and professionalism. As you can see from other YELP reviews, this is the gold tooth of dentistry!
I went to this office for a second opinion regarding some tooth pain I was experiencing. No run around, and was told that a crown would not be necessary (as previously told by other dentist). They adjusted the high bite that was causing me pain (at no charge!!). Much better now. The staff (including Dr Louie) are VERY kind and make the whole experience of being at the dentist office quite enjoyable!
